Abstract
This study was aimed to examine the effect of Online Project-Based Learning (e - PBP) on Form Four science students’ attitudes, knowledge and behavior towards renewable energy (RE). This study applied a quasi-experimental method with “Pre Test - Post Test One Group Design". The sample consisted of 48 Form Four students who received the e-PBP treatment who also acts as the experimental group. The impact of e-PBP on three variables, attitudes towards RE, knowledge towards RE and behavior towards RE were measured three times through a pre-test, post-test and post-test extension. ANOVA with Repeated Measurements were used for quantitative data analysis. Findings indicate that the use of e-PBP was found to have a significant impact in improving students’ attitudes, knowledge and behavior towards RE. Content analysis of the e-PBP on synchrony and asynchrony of online communication show that students are more comfortable using web 2.0 social interaction sites which are provided in the e-PBP in order to perform collaborative work within group in a more flexible. While analysis of findings from interviews found that students responded positively when performing group work in order to produce RE projects through the use of e-PBP without time constraints. Interview data also showed that students acquire new learning experiences and were able to share information that involves RE issues globally among them. The implication of study suggests that project-based learning for RE is suitable to

be implemented online since it is easier for students to interact without time and location constraints.
