| dc.description.abstract | Conservation is a. process to repair and preserve the monument of heritage building to follow the architecture and material same as the original when it was constructed. According to Venice charter, conservation must be based on the originality and authenticity. There are four criteria that highlighted in conservation work. There are originality in design, material, workmanship and setting. To achieve the objective the research's objective, there are few steps has been taken such as questionnaire and interview session with the contractor and selected consultant to get the feedback regarding to this research. A previous conservation also included as a reference. Research and documentation also play an important role to complete the conservation's work. Therefore, need to follow the procedures, rules and the regulation as mention in Venice and Burra charter. The expertise involvement is also ver:y important to ensure the quality of the conservation and to fulfill the requirement standard. The purpose of this conservation is to preserve the building's historical value and it is very important. Therefore, although conservation involve with the huge amount of money, but in the end what is the most important thing is the historical and sentimental value that become the national's priority. | en_US |
