| dc.description.abstract | Project performance is a very important issue in construction industry. The project will success when it can be delivered to the client within specific time, cost, quality and client satisfaction. There are many factors that can contribute to project success including the performance of project manager in construction firms. Project performance and project manager's performance are related with each other. The objectives of this research are 1. To identify relationship between work environmental factors and performance of Construction Project Manager and 2.To rank the important of works environmental factor. Sample of this research are Project Managers in Construction Firm in Penang, Kedah and Perlis. 80 questionnaires were distributed and only 26 respondents replied. From the analysis, we found that level of authority and type of client has high correlation (p<O.01) with performance of Project Manager. Meanwhile, job satisfaction also influence performance of Project Manager (p<O.05). The ranking of five most significant environment factors was dominated by project criteria. We hope that the entire industry player will give more intention to the related work environmental factors. This will help project managers in producing higher work performance and successfully produce construction product. | en_US |
