dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the effect of environmental Problem based learning (EPBL) in Physics towards environmental attitude, environmental knowledge and physics achievement among Form Four students. Eighty Form Four students from pure science stream from two schools in Larut Matang and Selama district participated in the study. Participants from experimental group had been taught using EPBL in physics. Those in control group had been taught physics subject using conventional method. This study is a quasi experiment with non equivalent group design. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics, one way ANCOVA and ANCOVA with repeated measures. Findings from the pre and post tests show that EPBL in physics has succeeded in increasing the environmental attitude, environmental knowledge and Physics achievement. Analysis of the pre and follow up tests show an effect in maintaining the students’ attitude towards the environment, their environmental knowledge and achievement in physics. Implication of the study suggested that if environmental education is in form of problem based learning, it is capable of making the students appreciate the importance of conserving the nature through the understanding of the concepts of physics.en_US
