| dc.description.abstract | In the rising of science and technology, there are a lot of facilities and amenities that have been created for making human daily life much easier and comfortable. These facilities and amenities are not just created for daily life tasks, it also regarding the human working patterns. If before the arriving of this technology people have to go to the office to do their work, but right now, after the arriving of the technology and science, they do not have to do so because they can just do the their work from anywhere they might be at the moment. This technology, named as telecommuting, has helped people doing their work by 'connecting' them with their working surroundings using internet, computer and telecommunication networks. By the eXisting of telecommuting, technology has given people the jobs opportunity without having to worry about geography limitation, accessibility to working place and individual time management. This study was conducted in order to know the opinions and perceptions of the lecturers regarding this matter: telecommuting application as an alternative for enhancing their working life. This study also being conducted to know telecommuting's other role besides than as an alternative in teaching methods. Study found that this technology is not a favorable method of the lectures, but, the main issue is the future planning for the universities correlate with the policies that have been made. | en_US |
