| dc.description.abstract | Allah Ta‘ala reveals al-Qur’an which contains numerous accounts pertaining to the da‘wah of Allah’s messengers. This research is made with reference to da‘wah stories in al-Qur’an for the al-mala’ group. Al-Mala’ refers to the high ranking society members or government officials. They play an important role in the shaping of a country. If these al-mala’ have faith and desire for goodness, the entire country will be blessed with goodness. However if these al-mala’ are otherwise, there would be improprieties in the government and in the people's lives. This research intends to identify the al-mala’ group, recount Allah’s messengers’ effort in spreading the da‘wah and to analyse the al-mala’s opposition and acceptance of the da‘wah as narrated in the al-Qur’an al-Karim. The library approach is used for this study by referring to the al-Qur’an al-Karim. It includes explanations given in the al-Qur’an which is further corroborated by the hadith of prophet Muhammad s.a.w., the selected tafsir and various writings related to this study. The result of the research shows that in spite of the messengers of Allah’s valiant efforts to persuade the al-mala’ to only serve Allah and to follow Allah’s wahyu to live in a blessed life in this world and the hereafter. Many of them had shown immense opposition towards the da‘wah. This is due to their own despicable characteristics and other external factors. As such Allah befell on them disasters when their arrogance was at its peak. However al-mala’ who had accepted the divine da‘wah received blessings from Allah for themselves, the society and their government. This research offers a positive lesson and an excellent example for the whole of mankind specifically to those spreading da‘wah and to the leaders of society. | en_US |
