Intel has emerged as the market leader in the design and manufacture of microprocessors. Although having unbeatable advantage over its competitors, Intel has to cope with keen competition in this dynamic environment which is changing rapidly and still needs to retain its market position in this highly competitive microprocessor market. Hence this study aims to evaluate the Intel strategic decision to set up the largest manufacturing facility in Ho Chi Minh. In addition, this case also studies Intel decision for t , maintaining only two assemblies in Asia - Intel Vietnam and Intel China after benchmarking ! with their current established assembly sites' endogenous and exogenous factors through the literature review and the interview conducted during the Vietnam trip. Based on the study, Intel must retain Intel Vietnam as one of the test and measurement assembly to maintain its competitiveness. Finally, the implementation plan of I t f strategies for Intel Vietnam are proposed and recommended in order to ensure that Intel r Vietnam will continue be a facilitator Intel global supply chain network.en_US
