| dc.description.abstract | The jUnction of micro computer laboratory of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information System is to support the teaching and learning material for the students and lecturers. An information is the main asset for any departments or organizations. Therefore, "Sistem Maklumat Pengurusan Makmal" for micro laboratory is a system proposed to assist in managing all laboratory activities in a more effective and efficient manners. With this system, the data can be manipulated to produce results and information which will be usefol in the management of the laboratory. These data can be used in managing and making laboratory related decisions. The proposed system is going to be used by the laboratory staffs or control clerk who will be in charged of monitoring the laboratory activities. The management aspects of the laboratory that will be implemented by "Sistem Maklumat Pengurusan Makmal" are the data entry regarding student's and laboratory stajfs personal information, student's discipline, computer registration, inventory or laboratory eqauipment's recording , laboratory equipment maintenance, query and hard copy or soft copy report generation. This system will be developed in the micro computer environment using Clipper programming language version 5.2. The operating system that is going to be used is MS-DOS version 5. 0. This proposed system will operate, used an executable file within 386 computer micro environment, parallel with the exist system. | en_US |
