Abstract
On-board image processing system for hyperspectral sensor have been developed in order to optimum compression performance of image data, this algorithm must take advantage of both spectral and spatial correlation. Integer (Karhunen-Loève Transform) KLT is one of efficient method for spectral decorrelation and JPEG2000 is a suitable method for spatial correlation. Image processing system are develop to maximize image data transmission for large volume and high speed downloading capacity. In 1986 JPEG (joint photographic expert group) community is formed to standardization image compression by combination (International Organisation for Standardisation) ISO and (International Telecommunication Union) ITU. In March 1997, a new standard image compression development are launched.JPEG2000 is the improvement for JPEG with the better execution time and compression ratio. Lossless JPEG2000 in Embedded Platform focus on lossless image compression. Raspberry pi Model is B used to implement open source code including debugging and testing. Lossless JPEG in Embedded Platform present open source code for any operating system such as Windows, Linux and Debian for Raspberry Pi. The Focus of this project is to implement JPEG2000 in Embedded Platform, which is compiling the source code in any platform without using library. Compression ratio and execution times is one of the important thing for this Lossless JPEG2000 in Embedded Platform. Lossless JPEG in Embedded platform are successful compile in embedded platform. Compiling using Raspberry pi will take a longest time compare to others.
