Abstract
Water is one of the important living needs. Getting clean water might be a crisis nowadays due to the rapid growth of development, which cause pollutions towards the water source. The polluted water source from rivers, lakes and reservoir will flow into the fishery farming area. It is a hustle for the farmers to keep on checking the water quality as they need to carry out the manual and traditional procedure by testing out water samples. Through IoT, we can get the real time data. Temperature, pH level and amount of the dissolve oxygen are the parameters that can verify the quality of water. Rain sensor is used as the parameter for the safety of the system. Data from the sensors will be stored at the cloud by using the ZigBee module as the communication protocol. The data collected from the microcontroller will be displayed on the web-based application to be monitor. HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript are used to develop the web-based application as the user interface. The data will be displayed and the collected value will be checked either it is in the threshold range. Data in the threshold range represents the safety state of the IoT-AQM system. If any data from the sensor is out of the threshold range, warning notification will be sent to the user. By applying this project in the agriculture industry, any issue towards the water quality that can harm the aquatic life can be reduced. This project helps to ease the work burden of the farmers so they can focus more on other major issue to ensure the growth of the aquatic life. More improvement in the industry can be achieved as the rate of damage is decreasing through the implementation of this project in the agriculture industry.
