dc.description.abstractGlobally pharmaceutical expenditures have increased significantly over the years. Similar trends have been noticed in the current Malaysian healthcare system. In this ever challenging scenario of healthcare provision one of the mechanisms suggested to minimize the cost of medicine is encouriging greater use of genetic medicines. Despite the Malaysian government's push for the use of genetic medicines, the utilization rate is still low. Previous studies had been focused on healthcare stakeholders in private health sectors.en_US
