dc.description.abstractThis study is to expose and analyse descriptively the process of involvement of the community entity in the rural hostel school. To explain the involvement of the community entity, a community school model is used as a guide. This study is carried out in tht ... ee lower secondary rural hostels school in Pantai Bar at Utara <PBU> Residency Saba h. The purpose o-f this study is to analyse and explain the involvement o-f community entity -from the aspect of objective con-firmation, approach, activity, result, in-fluence, problem and way o-f solving the problem. This study uses the qualitative approach, emphasizing on the sociological and ethnographic aspects. The total o-f the purpose sample used are 81 respondents~ The method o-f study used are interview, observation and~qocum~nt or record. The result of the study shows that rural hostel has helped in overcoming the students transportation problem and their -family's destitution. The involvement of the community entity is direct. The community entity emphasizes on the aspects o~ discussion, co-operation, the government agency and statutory body's principle, the administrative needs and the duties 0~ the association. The community entity involved in the school community are parent, teachers, Parents and Teachersen_US
