Abstract
An intetventional study of one year and two months duration of patients undergoing upper limb surgery in University Science Hospital, Kubang Kerian. A comparative study of local anaesthetic, ropivacaine and bupivacaine used for regional block, supraclavicular bracbial plexus block. General anaesthesia is not free from complications. The continuous search for a better regional anaesthesia agent is important because of issues such as blood loss, deep vein thrombosis, postoperative lung complications and confusion in elderly are avoided.
