dc.description.abstract | The working concept of this study is to have a clear understanding on the ability of four plant species (Anacardium occidentale (cashew). Gluta renghas (rengas), Mangifera indica (Indian mango) and Melanochyla fasciculiflora from family Anacardiaceae as larvicides and their efficacy to control vector mosquito populations. Here, we attempt to search for the effective and affordable natural products from our own forest to be used in the control of mosquito populations. Konsep kerja kajian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang jelas tentang kebolehan empat jenis tumbuhan Anacardium occidentale (gajus), Gluta renghas (rengas), Mangifera indica (mangga India) dan Melanochyla fasciculiflora dari famili Anacardaeiae sebagai larvisid dan keberkesanan untuk mengawal populasi nyamuk vektor.
