dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to measure the influence of multiple intelligences on self-regulated learning strategies, motivation and self-efficacy among the participating talented high school students in Saudi Arabia. The target population of this study comprises of talented students from AlQurayat Gifted and Talented Student Center located in the city of AlQurayat, Saudi Arabia. These students were in the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades at the time of the study. This study involves the participation of 484 talented fifteen, sixteen and seventeen years old male students. The four different instruments used in the study are the Self-Regulated Learning Strategies, Motivation, Self-efficacy scales as well as the Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scales (MIDAS). The result of the study showed that the use of Self-Regulated Learning Strategies (Cognitive Strategies) is at medium levels; the levels of Motivation (Intrinsic Value and Anxiety) were at high level; and Self-efficacy and self-regulated learning strategies are at medium levels. The results also showed that there are correlations between self-regulated learning strategies, self-efficacy and motivation. It was also found that the self-regulated learning strategies have an influence on the multiple intelligences and there are influence of MIs on self-efficacy, motivation, and self-regulated learning strategies. Also, Self-efficacy and motivation has been predicted in the effect of talent.en_US
