Abstract
Antenna system is requires for exploit the RF far fields efficiently and use backscattering modulation techniques to transfer data at UHF and microwave frequencies to improve on detection ranges. As RFID technology evolves it is expected to bring network integration and thereby increases wireless data services. It consists of a power source, a single integrated circuit transceiver chip, and a small amount of memory (to hold the unique code among other things). In this project, RFID transponder is designed to meet some of specifications. The tag should meet specific frequency of antenna at 2.4GHz. The capability of the tag is it can stores a series number unique to the chip. It also can store some small amount of memories. A program has been develops to implement the RFID transponder by using X-Bee module to transmit data using wireless system. The data is stores in PIC 16F77A. The goal of this project is to transmit small amount of memory and to hold unique code. The information is transmitted using X-Bee chip which is uses the Zigbee protocol. The receiver would receive the data that transmitted from the tag and display it through HyperTerminal. The second part is to determined the power transmit from the tag so that the theory and the calculation can be compared. From there, the distance can transmit the information or the data can be varied. Tags are purposely kept simple so they can be made very small and very inexpensive.
