dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to study the relationship and effects of Logistics Supply Chain Practices and Logistics Services Capability on Logistics Services Effectiveness for logistic service providers operating within the Penang region. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to logistics service provider to gather evidence to test the above research. Based on the research conducted, logistics supply chain practices such as Information Flow, Knowledge Management, Capacity & Skill Management and Cash Flow Management variables revealed that significant relationships exist with Logistics Services Capability as well as Logistics Services Effectiveness. The study also reveal a better understanding on how logistics supply chain practices, mediated by logistics services capability can be undertaken by organization which results in improved logistics services effectiveness to the customers. Finally implication of the results and suggestions for future research are discussed at the end of research.en_US
