dc.description.abstract | Well-being at workplace refers to the continuous balance of mental, emotional, social and spiritual components of individuals to produce happiness, satisfaction in their work life. However, for the employees’ working in multinational telecommunication companies in Pakistan, inequity between their inputs and output have influenced their wellbeing at workplace. Drawing upon the equity theory and social cognitive theory, this study examine the role of organizational justice and selfperceived English language proficiency on the employees’ wellbeing at workplace in multinational telecommunication companies in Pakistan. In addition, this study examines the moderating role of perceived supervisor support on the relationship between organizational justice and self-perceived English language proficiency, and employees’ wellbeing at workplace. To test the proposed hypothesis data was collected through self administered questionaires. The study samples consisted of 235 employees working in all four multinational telecommunication companiese in Pakistan. Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed to test the model. The finding showed that, predictors such as distributive justice, procedural justice and self-perceived English language proficiency were found to be significantly related to job satisfaction, job depression, job anxiety and turnover intention. The results revealed that distributive justice and procedural justice were more strongly related to wellbeing at workplace, whereas interpersonal and informational justice was only related to job satisfaction. The moderating effect of perceived supervisory support was not substantially supported in this study. Based on the findings, the methodology, theoretical and practical implications of the study are discussed. The suggestion for the future research is also offered. | en_US |
