dc.description.abstract | Today, the development of information technology has a significant impact on business management. In fact, the use of the information technology to achieve competitive advantages and improve organizational performance. Business intelligence is becoming a powerful tool to support decision making by gathering, storing, accessing, analyzing raw data that collected from various parties through the communication and collaboration skills. So, collaboration can be viewed as valuable and unique capability that must possess by organizations especially in globalization era. Therefore, supported by resource based view, contingency theory and previous literature, this study attempts to examine the impact of information technology capability, business intelligence use and collaboration capability on organizational performance in Public Listed Companies of Bursa Malaysia. This study also integrates the moderating role of environmental volatility and the mediating role of strategic agility into research model. Mailed questionnaire was used to collect data. Partial Least Square was used to analyze the data based on the hypotheses derived from the research framework. The findings indicate that business intelligence use and collaboration capability are crucial predictors affecting the organizational performance among PLCs. However, information technology capability does not impact organizational performance. Meanwhile, strategic agility is fully mediated the relationship between information technology capability, business intelligence use on organizational performance, but environmental volatility does not moderate the relationship. This study aims to promote greater understanding and insights into the organization resources and capabilities of information technology, business intelligence use and collaboration dimensions on organizational performance. | en_US |
