Abstract
The purpose, of this study is to investigate the
ences in achievement between student teachers who are
dependent (FD) and those who are field independent (FI)
teaching tearning situations in biology lessons using
osure/<global' (GG) and disclosure/•step b~ step' (SBS)
of illustrations.
The sample consisted of randomly selected 120 student from a Teacher Training College. The experimental
n was used to obtain quantitative data using pre and
tests to establish their gain scores.
From the analyses of the treat.ment given there was no
ficant correlation l.TI achievrnent. using different
