Further, it also explores the moderating effects of technological complexity on the relationship between TPM and job characteristics. This research was conducted using questionnaires distributed to a sample of approximately 200 employees from different sector of organizations in Penang that practice TPM. The data were then analyzed using SPSS software. From this study, it was found that higher extent of TPM leads to higher job satisfaction and job characteristics. In addition, the extent of involvement in TPM ,has an indirect relationship with job satisfaction via the mediating influence of job characteristics. The relationship between TPM and job characteristics was further moderated by technological complexity. Managers have to know the possible implications of TPM on the employees' attitude so that the organization could implement TPM practices successfully from the human resource's point of view and continue to provide benefits for the employees.en_US
