The shape of the woi"~f';psules WA.S spherlc:tl and .free nowir.g. The !)resenc~ of some tine bubbles and nome ,ockmark-li!:e holes vas ob~er-.red on the surface of ~~, capsules by the m1croscopic studies. the existence of holes was ohviously p,onfi~pd by studies on the release 9attern tram the dissolution test. The ,lot ot cumUlative percent~e of sodi~ s~licyl~te di~solved versus ti.":le was done. There were three '~~nses ot din::::olutlon cha~cter1st1c observed. Initially there was a ~~id rele~se followed by n ~du~l fall in the ~te ~d finally it plateaued of!.
