A series of 1,2,3-triazole based compounds were desingned and their binding modes and free anargies of binding to the prolyl hydroxylase domain 2 (PHD2) active site were evaluated using molecular docking studies by AutoDock 4.0,1. The molecular docking studies demonstrated that the designed compounds were capable of binding to the PHD2 active site in a bidentate manner and forming hydrogen bonding interaction with amino acid residue Arg 383 apart from displaying preferential free energies of binding.en_US
