dc.description.abstract | In vitro release of salicylic acid from oint~ent bases \';a3 inVC3tie3. ted I)":; a di ffus:-:;ion tec hnique er.r9loying Ghicken porch as a Skin model. The ointmant bases used were TIoolfat (anhydrous), ~hite soft paraffin, emulsion ~ type, and )clyethylene Glycol. 10 percent of salicylic acid waa incorporat~d into each of the ointments prc]ared.
